London 2019

Our class trip to London

We are students of class 7 and had the chance of visiting the capital of Great Britain. It was an unforgettable journey. We went by coach and ferry. We stayed in a youth hostel in London. Our Tube station there was Finchley Road. We often went by the underground. It is the fastest way.

The programme for every day had a lot of highlights. Our first step was Camden Market. Most tried McDonalds there. Because of the sunny weather we relaxed in Hyde Park. In the evening (Monday) we were very tired because of the night in the bus and a hard day.

On Tuesday we had a sightseeing tour with our German bus. The stop at the Tower of London we connected with the delicious fish and chips. We had a wonderful view to Tower Bridge. We walked from Leicester Square to Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square. Our London Eye experience was great. Later at night we saw London Eye by night too.

The next day we watched the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace. In St James’s Park we had fun with the animals there. In the afternoon we went shopping in Oxford Street and at the shop of HardRockCafé. At Covent Garden we had a good time. But then there was one of the biggest highlights, namely the musical School of Rock. It was a fantastic show. Although it was a hard day some of the boys made it seeing Tower Bridge by night.

Madame Tussaud’s was on the programme of Thursday. We were impressed by all these wax fugures. We had fun and took a lot of photos. Later we walked through Greenwich Park to the Zero-Meridian. From there we started our trip home.

It was such a great journey that a lot of us say: We should go there again one day.
